

Ballroom dancing is different from most other forms of contemporary dancing: it frequently MOVES over the floor. This requires traffic rules, similar to other moving 'vehicles.' KEY POINT: if you are in the outside "fast lane"and everyone is passing you, please move to the middle ring!
Also, remember ballroom is an intimate dance. For a pleasant experience, good hygiene is essential. Bathe before lessons and use deodorant. Use breath fresheners frequently but NO gum! Hold off on aftershave and perfumes, as some folks are sensitive.
